The "100 Interns" Mindset

Treating AI as a fleet of tireless assistants that absorb the Drag work, so a person's time goes to judgment, relationships, and creative problem-solving instead.

The “100 Interns” mindset is the intended trade on the other side of giving up Drag Addiction: instead of one person grinding through data entry, formatting, and status updates alone, they orchestrate a fleet of AI assistants that handle that work instead.

It operates on two levels. The obvious one is delegating grunt work. The deeper one is a shift in identity, from operator (the person doing the task) to orchestrator (the person directing many tasks at once). Every employee, not just executives, now has the potential to run a small team of tireless digital interns. The people who make that shift free up real hours for the parts of the job that actually require a human: strategy, persuasion, and judgment calls nobody can automate yet.
